President Trump is winning in all fronts. Winning against the profound state, the media, North Korea, Iran Deal, economy and much, much more.
The Senate has passed a bill that would allow veterans to work with private doctors and hospitals, fulfilng a Trump effort guarantee.
As reported by thehill.com
The Senate readily cleared laws on Wednesday overhauling medical care choices for veterans, sending the bill to President Trump’s desk.
Senators voted 92-5 about the proposal, known as the VA Mission Act, with just a simple majority needed to pass the bill. Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) Voted against the legislation.
With its passage, the bill will probably meet Trump’s public deadline to act on the issue and arrive on his desk before Congress departs for a weeklong Memorial Day recess. The bill passed the House last week.
The sweeping, $52 billion reform bill will reform medical care choices for veterans, including giving them more access to private doctors and hospitals.
The legislation was expected to readily clear the Senate and won the support of both Sens. Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) — the chairman and ranking member, respectively, of the Senate’s experts panel.
